Every Tuesday we will hold regular ‘In Conversation’ meetings at 17.00 CET (Paris) time ( 4pm UK time). These meetings last one hour.

They include dialogue about a wide range of photography related topics, recommendations for photographers, Instagram accounts, books and a lot more besides. Featuring Tim and Joanna’s photography and showcasing work from members you can be sure of some lively discussion and plenty of inspiration.

Though these meetings are free, we do hugely appreciate any donations you would like to give, as they help us to keep them going.

Tuesday 21 January - Travel Photography

Joanna will be showing some photographs from her travels last year and will be talking about her approach to travel photography - giving you some tips on how to approach travel photography or when you are away on a trip.

Tuesday 4 February The rule of odd numbers and when it works to break the rule!

Why do we love odd numbers? Why do we talk about 3's, 5's, 7's in photography? A discussion on why odd numbers work but also why you can also break the rules and sometimes a pair works!

Tuesday 18 February Carl Symes will discuss Self Printing

Carl has very kindly offered to discuss printing your own photographs. How he does it. What he uses and any other technical questions or queries you may have.

If you have any particular questions please send them through beforehand to Carl carl@carlsymes.com. It will give Carl an idea of what you would like to get out of this session

Tuesday 11 March The power of cropping

We have been asked to discuss the art and power of cropping as it's a subject that is often brought up when discussing the themes each month. We are looking for volunteers to send some uncropped photographs to two.photographers2020@gmail.com before this session.

Tuesday 8 April - Assignment Review

Expect this to be a longer session but we will go through all 3 themes ! We are going to ditch the first, second and third places and instead go through all the photographs and hopefully have a group discussion about them. We will however pick our favourites!
